May 2023 Real Estate Newsletter

Spring Market Heating Up:

With all the wet weather and cold temperatures earlier this year, the spring housing market was a little late getting started. As you will see, there is much more activity and home prices are on the rise again. As mentioned in an earlier newsletter, I felt that January of 2023 was a turning point. Prices leveled off from a 6-month slide and now, we’re starting to see the prices on the upswing. Pent up demand and lowinventory are still the driving forces in our current market. At the Beginning of March 2023, we had 631 homes for sale. Today, near the end of April, we have 507 homes for sale. This information is taken from the Greater Antelope Valley Association of Realtors (GAVAR). And similar trends abound in the greater Los Angeles areas.

If you have a place to move to or want to sell with a concurrent close (so you’re never without a place to call home), now may be a good time!
